From teachers going the extra mile to enhance distance learning, to doctors and nurses to community members sourcing masks for others, there are countless examples of people across the country going above and beyond to support others without expecting anything in return. The car company, Mazda, wants to learn more about these amazing acts of kindness.

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) recently launched its ‘Mazda Heroes: Honoring the Human Spirit’ (Mazda Heroes) program which aims to place a spotlight on people across the country who have selflessly uplifted those around them throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Through Mazda Heroes, MNAO will select 50 of these local “heroes,” and share a special part of the company’s own, rich history with each of them — a 100th Anniversary Special Edition Mazda MX-5 Miata — as a ‘thank you’ to the lasting impact these individuals have had on their respective communities.

Mazda Heroes kicked-off this week; submissions will be accepted until Sunday, October 25th. The 50 Mazda Heroes will be formally announced on December 2nd.

Heroes can nominate themselves or someone they know and submit their story at for a chance to be honored as a Mazda Hero.
